Yep, the same here in South Kent. Nobody about out there, bin-lids flapping wildly!

I shall spend the afternoon watching The Sound of Music (one of my favourite films)

Pouring with rain and blowing a gale here on N/Kent Coast.
Gale-backed rain south east Hampshire coast.
Yep, same here. Not venturing out in that! (Nailsea, North Somerset)
I'm in Devon also...it just seems to be never- ending gales and rain. I felt like I needed weights in my pockets to hold me down when I took the dog out.
"pensioner gets blown across the Tamar in freak winds"....
Torrents, floods, gales. (S. Midlands) Thank goodness I live on a ridge.
Ditto. I am in South Cambridgeshire. It was raining heavily at 6 a.m. with a strong wind. Now it's better; no rain, but the wind is stronger!
Happy New year everyone.. blowing a gale & pouring here too.... were in Somerset, I think its getting colder too as the day wears on.. just put the heaating on!..
I was just thinking the same, crisper. Thought I try a cardigan first though, I'm in Somerset as well!
I'd
Blowing a gale and pouring with rain and almost dark on Essex coast.
Getting dark now, wind horrible, rain chucking down and so so miserable!!!!
Minus fifteen and sunny here in the Toronto area. It's nice to know that we've gained twelve minutes of daylight since Dec.21st!
Oh it's nasty up here and it's normally so beautiful
Dreadful weather here in S. Yorkshire. But quite happy eating chocolates, drinking wine and watching old films on TV. Happy New Year! (So far) Bet it won't last!
