If I were to start exercising three times a week (as opposed to none), how long would it take before i saw a difference in my physique (if any)? Also what in particular helps to tone the top of your bum? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
It really depends I did kickboxing for 9 months before I started to even notice a little change and that was for like 6 hours a week and really hard work it was only after 15 months i noticed a big difference, it really depends on you.Normally though if your intending on going to the gym instead of doing it at home if you ask someone that works there for advice they will go through the kind of workout you want it depends on all sorts of things and .As for the tone the bum bit I used the stepper machine or 30 minues 3 times a week ...It hurt like hell but worked.
Try exercising at home rather than the gym if you do aerobic exercises rather than muscle building exercises you should see a difference quite soon .Muscle is heavier than fat and is easier to put on and take off but if you havent done any exercise you will loose weight and feel better. Try aerobics step aerobics cycling running power walking and skipping until you find something you enjoy you don't need to spend a lot of money on gym subs if you need to buy any equipment get it second hand in the paper from failed fitness freaks all you need is willpower which is free. For your bum try this after warming up and stretching go on all fours withyour hands level with your shoulders keeping your hands on the floor stretch back on your haunches resting your head on the floor and then back up when youve done that a few times vary it by going back on your haunches and placing your left knee further back on the floor behind your right foot .Its a bit hard to expain but its a yoga exercise and you can feel it work it does give you a trim bum .I taught my wife it and hers is shaping up nicely she says she wants one like a pig whats all that about??
Once you find that activity that quattro mentions, then its not just a physical difference that you notice but also a mental one, having achieved something. If, for example, you choose cycling, then don't just cycle to get about, also cycle as a challenge. I try to go out specifically to go up Arthur's Seat, a hill in Edinburgh, which once I've reached the top is a good workout and makes me feel like I've really achieved something. Plus, the view's not bad!
