Sony Tv And Dvd Player Screen Problems

Not sure what has happened, but whenever I play a dvd my tv screen is showing minutes on the bottom right hand of the screen. It also happens when playing catch up through the dvd. Does not happen on normal viewing of tv when dvd turned off. Any ideas? Thanks.

You've obviously got a function enabled on your DVD player that needs to be disabled (by pressing the appropriate button on the remote control for your DVD player). However we can't suggest which button you need to press unless you tell us the make and model.

Thanks Buenchico, you are right, the puppy had pushed one of the buttons on remote.
