Endorsements stay on your driving licence for four years and for totting up purposes last for three years. So if you have no new endorsements you have zero points. Next year you can apply to have it renewed. If I were you I would not bother as it becomes a spent conviction and will be ignored by all and sundry.
I've just had to do this with 3 points which ran out at the end of Jan. You need a form from the post office - I think its the D1 but don't quote me on that. If you go on the DVLA website, it gives you an address you send the form and the license and they send you a new license. It costs 19 though.

Thankyou dennis m &sholay,I thought it was only three years do you mean I've got to wait another one year.I will go to the DVLA -on-line to sort it out with them.Cheers to you both
after the 4 years is up, if you ended up erm moving home to your mums house say, and then moving back to where you are now a few weeks later, and were a very good boy and sent your license off to the dvlc at every move you'd end up with a clean licence and no bill for it!!!!!
