If this is true, then the upcoming Inquests are going to be even more interesting.

No-one is saying that everyone had a ticket and no-one is saying that every PC or WPC was negligent or altered their original statements. It was a disaster and there is evidence of a systematic cover-up involving SOME of those in authority.

spying on the protesters should not affect the inquest
as it doesnt alter the cause of death
altho clearly if I said: the police are doing a crap job
I wouldnt like the police to refute allegations of lying and otherwise crap behaviour by spying on me ......
and then saying yeah this was clearly necessary to clear our ownname

chill, oh dear mate how dare you suggest there were thousands of ticketless fans trying to force there way in, don't you know that the fans are blameless, it's 100% the fault of the police and each and every one of those coppers and the next 3 generations of their families need to be crucified on he road to Anfield.
Tora, can you not read? Your "mate chill" provided a very informative link. He chose to highlight certain passages, but not the whole report. I can only presume that you have also not read the whole report, why not? Is it because it contradicts your last post?
I cannot force you to read it, but I'll provide the link again, here's hoping!
I too will not post again until after the inquest, so if you want to perpeptuate the unproven allegations feel free. One last plea to your better nature? please read the link.

Just to make it easier for you, the final paragraph of Chilldoubt's link.
Consistent with Lord Justice Taylor's findings, the Panel found no evidence among the vast number of disclosed documents and many hours of video material to verify the serious allegations of exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans. There was no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium and force entry and no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying. Documents show that fans became frustrated by the inadequate response to the unfolding tragedy. The vast majority of fans on the pitch assisted in rescuing and evacuating the injured and the dead.
I'll say no more until after the inquest.

chilldoubt- the people who are keeping this going and seeking the truth are the families of the dead - in england.
the difference between hillsborough and heysel - and the reason why it is not as hot a topic as hillsborough - is simply because all of the heysel dead were not liverpool fans or british people.
no-one here actually knows any of the dead personally
how do you know that the families of those who died at heysel are not tirelessly campaigning and remembering too?
but we dont hear about it because its in a different country
most of the people in liverpool were affected by hillsborough in some way and hearing all this new evidence etc upsets them again and again - thats why we all hear about it - because its here in our news, our country and our police force
