ER on E4

Ok this could just be a fault with my TV, but has anyone else who watches ER firstlook(week before channel 4) on E4 had a black flickering that lasts a couple seconds throughout the programme? This is the 3rd week in a row this has happened. Not sure if its all the time on E4 as this is the only programme I watch on this channel.

I haven't noticed a problem - are you watching it on freeview, satellite or cable?

I watch it through cable, Telewest. I just find it really strange that it doesnt happen on any other channel or programme lol.

I live in West London and receive Telewest cable. I have experienced the same problem in the past with certain channels including E4, Sky 1 and Hallmark.

I think it's some kind of momentary breakdown in the digital picture, accompanied by a strange, strangled clicking/crackling noise which clears if I rapidly switch channels.

I admit, this electrickery lark confuses me somewhat.

I dont watch a lot of the other channels on Telewest at the moment, so I'd only noticed it on E4. Must be a nationwide problem with Telewest then, as I live in Central Scotland.
