Chips in windscreen
I've had a few small chips in my windscreen for a while now. I've been through 2 winters with ice and snow and they haven't got worse or anything. Should i wait til just before i sell the car to replace the windscreen (it gets through the MOT with them) or replace it now and risk getting more chips?

I made use of this last year, had 3 small chips fixed. The RAC did it, they came to my house and did the repairs on the driveway. They can usually fix any chip smaller than a pound coin. No hassle whatsoever!
Call your insurer and see what they say.
Thanks guys. I phoned up Autoglass and they said 3 are the maximum number of chips they'll fix. I'm considering a new windscreen though coz i also have some scratches from where the previous owner didn't change the wipers and let the metal scratch across the window (grr!). Plus in the sun the window looks like it's got lots of mini scratches/bubbles in it (i assume something to do with the age - it's 5 years old). But anyway, if i get a new screen at least any further chips can be fixed for free....
