Advice Re Son's 'quirky' Behaviour

I've posted about boy #2's quirky behaviour before (he's just turned 10 uears old) but something new has 'appeared' recently. He won't dry his hands on the towels that are used by the rest of us. He will either walk around with wet hands (if he thinks I won't notice), wipe them on his clothes or even on his hair. Should I just let him get on with it or should I 'indulge' this behaviour and get him his own towel?

I bought him his own hand towels and we've chosen a place to keep them so they don't get used by anyone else. He is so pleased, one less thing for his little brain to worry about.
How lucky he is to have a mum who tries to understand. Hope all goes well with no escalation.
maybe he has witnessed someone wiping their noses on a towel or something and has the idea that thats what everyone is doing.

just buy him a couple of his own little towels - maybe a spiderman one or whatever hes into, so he knows its not that he gets his own special 'house' towel, but that its more of a little gift for him - and so everyone knows its his and doesnt use it
obviously you gave to get them both towels though
Bless him. I hope that relaxes him.
Well done Sherr, as others have said it is about him having that bit of control - no harm in it at all.

I didn't make a big deal out of it and the others don't know about it either, never seen anyone so happy to get a towel.
