I have been trying to download apps from Google Play to my Kindle Fire HD. During the download procedure it says 'this app is compatible with your device' and then Google proceeds to download it to my wife's mobile phone!! This is because the only device listed is her phone. I have accessed my Google account from the Kindle but don't seem to be able to add it to the list. Can anyone advise me how to please?

Try switching phone off while you download....
You can't use Google Play on a Kindle Fire (unless you have modified your tablet), you have to use the Amazon App store.

Thanks cheeky - I suppose this is no more than I expected. Yet another thing to be disapponted in this tablet for. It was a Christmas present, but I have to say that it (to me) seems such a waste of money.
