In answer to whether it is too late to sue , yes it is and it wouldn't be the Army that you sued either, it would be the driver of the vehicle, as for the combat stress disorder, is it your current civilian doctor who has diagnosed you, or were you diagnosed before leaving the Army, if you were diagnosed before leaving then you would have got a medical dishcarge and either a lump sum or a small monthly pension depending on the severety of the complaint, if it has been from a civilian doctor then you would need to apply to the war pensions/veterans agency who would then send you for a medical to an independant doctor, depending on their advice would depend on whether you got any money or not, either way it wouldn't be suing, it would be applying for a war pension on medical grounds whislt still serving. I do sympathise with you, however, as an Amry wife of many, many years, I can't help thinking that perhaps you really did not realise what you were signing up for, perhaps with hind sight you wouldn't do the same.
