To kick of the February games, 'The Cat's Mother' (aka boxtops) set you a fair challenge in the MM version. 29 points were awarded so nothing to complain about (unless you were one of the unlucky ones)
Tomorrow she will challenge her players to select the word that she is thinking of to partner her declared challenges. The game starts off in Q&P with the introduction posted at 8:45am, followed 15 minutes later by the four challenge words. Your job is to guess what 4 link words she has chosen to go with those.
The MM Game closes at 7pm Sunday but early play optimises your chance of bonus points.

In the KM version, the challenge words are the highlighted answers in Saturday's Daily Telegraph GK Crossword set by Kate Mepham (KM). They link with 4 answers in Monday's Herculis crossword. Your job is to guess them before they are published.
The KM Game (posted by Seekeerz) starts early on Saturday and closes midnight Sunday - play anytime before then.


The shrubbery was remarkably quiet last weekend but is now open as usual for socialising. Do feel free to join in.

Where does everybody get to on Friday evenings now. The shrubbery used get together on Friday evenings used to be the initial highlight of the weekend - silly, but good fun

Only just had the chance now to look in - I've been fighting a Word document and trying to copy and paste pictures that didn't want to move. I won in the end, but too late for shrubbery socialising. Looking forward to tomorrow's links in both games.

The shrubbery, of course, has been knee deep in flood water these last few weeks. If this goes on we'll have to meet in the attic!
