Paint And Condensation

Got our walls painted with dulux emulsion in the windows the paint is coming off through the condensation we have a dehumidifier going is there any thing I can paint on then paint the emulsion on top to stop it thanks

Do you have an extract fan? If not, get one fitted in the ceiling and vent it to the eaves via a flexible duct, then, paint your bathroom with Dulux Bathroom+ paint.

Assuming you are in the UK, I think I may be onto a certain bet that the areas are pretty much entirely unheated, in which case the temperature will be very low. If I am correct then the atmosphere will already have been near dewpoint and under such conditions the slightest additional loading of moisture into the air will result in the entirely predictable result of condensation. Wet walls present a huge loading. You can't prevent the laws of physics proceeding. Either heat your house or else wait until summer has firmly arrived.

Karl's right, col. You really need to either reduce the amount of water vapour generated, or fit more extraction.

Fan extraction over bath or shower.
Fan extraction over cooker ...... especially if a gas cooker
Trickle vents over the window would help as well.

To answer your question, I guess you could use paints especially formulated for bathrooms and kitchens. They're quite resistant to condensation and mould.
