The Games are in full swing, and we are all still on Cloud 9 after watching the amazing performance by Jenny Jones.

Lets hope the British women can both progress in the short track skating 500 m. Their heats were exciting to watch.

// Ian Jordan tweeted: "The commentators on @BBCSport Winter Olympics are embarrassing. Cheering people falling over just because a Brit is going to win a medal." //

What happens in a penalty shoot out? Say in a World Cup game?

If Germany missed a penalty in a shoot out, so England won a World Cup game, presumably he'd want the commentators to say oh dear, that was very unfortunate for the German player.

// Another Twitter user, simply titled Suzanne, wrote: "Why are the commentators cheering for someone falling? How unprofessional can you get? #BBCSochiSuzanne //

It must be awful to have a life so empty of passion.

And so full of inane drivel.

I hope those people don't go skiing.

Could you imagine going into a jolly bar in the mountains, and finding horrible people like that in there?
The Russian skater black swan girlie...was just beautiful to watch !!
In the world of National Hunt racing it is considered very bad form to pray for the leading horse to fall at the last if yours is the one who will benefit by such an occurence. And i never, ever, cross my heart and hope to d......................, oh of course i do. Every bleeding time:-)

Ian Jordan (the Twitter person) must be the world's worst football fan.

He'd hate to think of his team winning just because the other side failed to score any goals.

Very unsporting to be pleased that your opponents didn't score.

In fact, it's always unsporting to be happy when your opponents lose. You should only be happy when the other team wins.

A BBC spokesperson said: "This was a truly historic occasion for Team GB and the commentary team were understandably very excited."

"However we acknowledge that on occasion this excitement got the better of them and this is something that we will work on for future events."

So the commentators will be told to stop getting excited?

For real ???

My my, the coverage will be exciting from now on.

Surely the BBC spokesman should have just said ...

"If you don't like it, don't watch it."
