is the only question that warrants an answer. These logic processes are wired into our brains, children don't have to learn them. They are also wired into the brains of other animals. As to where they came from, well, like toes, they evolved.

Joko, do people thank god for the bad things that happen? I suspect not yet following the strange logic of the devout believer the 'bad' things must be part of his great plan so they shoud be equally grateful for them. Or have I missed something?

i used to know a girl who was a good laugh etc, didnt see her for years then bumped into her - and she was born again christian - we went to a cafe for a cuppa, and she an her mate spent the whole time mumbling songs like 'there is power in the name of jesus' etc and whenever i said something good that was going on for me, they both said stuff like 'ahh praise jesus', jesus is watching over you', etc and if id had some bad luck etc, they said, 'ahh thats the work of the devil'

it was sickening and weird, how totally wrapped up in it they were

a few years past, i saw her again, i asked about her born again christian stuff, and she just looked down and mumbled 'i dont want to talk about it' ... then she jumped on a bus and i havent seen her since...
