Has he never been interviewd about it before?
This happened last year.
We are seeing more and more threads on the News section that don't ask a question.

Am I to assume that this is now acceptable practice, or only permissible for some?

I ask this because I have often been asked "what is your question"?

I wasn't aware that a question was compulsory aog. I just posted this so that

1...people would be aware it happened
2...to stimulate debate

I for one have no problem with you doing the same !
I am surprised that he hasn't been called on before.
Okay AOG - so mikey asks "do you think that this phone hacking thing is going to run and run?" You are in the risk of entering the Peter Pedant camp.

I think he has...December last year according to the link.

By the way, its gone very quite about Rebekka and Co lately. The trial is still going on ( I think ) but not much reported for a while. Anyone have any recent updates ?
6/10 on the gloatometer. You do know he once worked for the Daily Mirror?
Question Author
No I never knew that TTT, despite it being in the link that I posted ! What difference does it make ? Phone hacking seems to have been rife all over Fleet Street.

Is gloating your Word of the Week ? What will next weeks new word be TTT ?

i wasn't criticising you personally Mikey just asking the question for further reference, because after being criticised for such a deed many times, I feel that I must now always ask a question, and it is very hard at times, when one just wants to report a story, just as you have done in this case.

I took no offence at all aog. The News section on AB has been a fairly open debating chamber for as long as I have been active here. Feel free to bring up any topic that you think is interesting !

This phone hacking affair is going to have long reaching consequences for public life in Britain, so it needs to be debated vigorously. The trial going on at present over the News of the World will result in custodial sentences for those in involved, if found guilty. If it was going on at the the Daily Mirror, or even the Guardian ( ! ) we need to know.
Slightly odd that this is being reported now when it appears that the interview referred to happened last year, don't you think?

@AoG. As far as I can recall, the times you have been asked " what is your question" is because it is unclear why you have posted a specific link, or how the title of your question related to the link you offer, or the text of your OP.

Tell you what - why don't you dig out one of these posts you are complaining about, where you have been censured about not posting a question, then we can all see for ourselves?

As far as Mikeys OP here is concerned, it is abundantly clear from the title of the post and then the offered link what is being referred to, as is the subsequent statement, which invites comment from interested parties.

LG...I have read the link again and you are right...he was last interviewed by the Police last December. So its a bit puzzling why it is making the news on the BBC News website today ?
Paranoid as well as xenophobic - guess who ?
Question Author
?
Maybe it's speculation that he is going to be arrested - now they have lost both Roach and Travis, they only have this in the pipeline - oh and Mr Harris, but will his trial be withdrawn now?
