Nope re "damned if they do and damned if they don't".
No damnation for doing a job, just criticism of timing, mainly aimed at their advisors. Nobody expected our princes to get involved so no criticism if they had continued their reponsibilities and lives.
They're two great guys and would have really been admired if they had beaten the politician's invasion week, rather than innocently appearing to be part of a week of a PR spearhead.
