Which was your favourite(maybe not the best word) method of dispatching someone in the show? I have two and both involve wine. In the first a chap was pinned to the ground with croquet hoops and bombarded with expensive bottles of wine hurled from an replica onager. The second, even more bizarre, depicted a quiz show host with his head stuck in an empty television and drowned in wine.

Oh, Sandy.....I almost agree with you.....memorable dispatches but a dreadful waste of wine.....☺

Just don't go Camping in the area,
If you watch the News all rural murder victims
are found in Tents!!

Gness, there was a time I would have thought that sacrilege, but not now. :-)
I know, Sandy...but still..could they not have used Lucozade or the like to the same end?.....☻

Wouldn't that ^^^ have an adverse effect, surely it aids recovery?
lucozade would mean a particularly sticky end
Wouldn't that please those who like a happy ending then, Baldric?..x

not a Midsomer one, but the wife killed her hubby with a frozen leg of lamb, thawed and cooked and served to the investigating officers.

I don't remember the quiz show host eposide, but wasn't Joss Ackland the victim with the croquet hoops?
How about P D James' "A Certain Justice", in which a lawyer is found stabbed to death in her chambers adorned with a QC's wig which had been topped off with a copious amount of AB negative (I think) blood...Now that's a bloody bizarre business, innit?
i confess i have watched it once or twice and found it rather tiresome
Alba...I remember the leg of lamb so well....there is always one in my freezer just in case......☻
Isn't there an old adage "As gentle as a leg of lamb"?
The leg of lamb murder is a Roald Dahl story called 'Lamb to the Slaughter'
Thank you, Sandy....and we keep everyone happy....☺
