Having dismissed them in the "What's On" a friend persuaded me to go to see the The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain.

Wonderful evening and a well deserved packed house...obviously lots of people knew better than I.

I'll certainly see them again when I'm less deaf and if you want a fantastic evening out.....see if they are in your area....x

Question Author
They did indeed, Methyl...and it was brilliant!
Question Author
Thanks, Shoota....and didn't MM outclass Lily Allen!!!
Methinks she talketh too much.....
.....and too graphically.
Question Author
Who?
MM
Question Author
No...not at all...I would love an evening with MM and Stephen Fry.... the conversation would be fascinating....more than you can say for the other one.
I'd rather listen to Lily sing than MM relating her bleeding stories......
Question Author
Oh come on...that was funny....Lily can sing?????
Exactly....
Question Author
I was asking, Shoota....I have never heard her......her bad manners made me fast forward tonight....x
She has a voice but her songs rely on its 'quirky' nature and they tend to be samey. Son 1 loves her......
I'll leave MM to you, she just grates on me, especially as she seems to want to hog the limelight all the time.
Question Author
I'll happily keep her, thanks......

Bed I think...night, night...sleep well.....xxx

Hi Gness x

If you ever get chance to see The Everley Pregnant Brothers, do so. They are a ukele band from Sheffield and are really funny. They re-write all the words well known songs. Examples are No Oven No Pie (No Woman No Cry) and Losing My Best Pigeon (Losing My Religion)
Check them out on Youtube
