How we larrfed bluejonjo - but 'rice and peas' is not 'rice with peas', but rice, in stock with red beans and other stuff - check suggestions above for recipes.

Some add tahini, onions, veg bouillion, chicken stock, hot chillies, use pigeon peas instead, or chick peas, kidney beans, etc, and chuck in some cooked mutton or diced lamb to add a meat to it.....

Lots of variations about on this originally a Caribbean basic meal. Give it a try - easy to do and nice and healthy too!
