Soundproof ceiling advice
3 Answers
I am fitting a new kitchen which is below the childrens bedroom. While I am at it I want to soundproof the room so that parties in the kitchen don't disturb the kids! Is there something available other than just overboarding with plasterboard?

I'd do a double layer on the ceiling, staggering the joints, so that they overlap. I'm not being sarky, but wouldn't it be cheaper to move the children to another bedroom - if only for that night?
