It's pretty bizarre isn't it? I'm struggling to think of an equivalent - some residents of Northern Ireland supporting an Irish team against a British one being arrested for treason?

The sedition charge isn't happening though. They obviously realised how ridiculous it was, and downgraded it to something else..causing trouble, or whatever.
