It looks a bit like Ribes (flowering current)

yes I reckon thats Ribes. Doe is smell like pee when you cut it?

It actually has a very pleasant odour, though I'm not sure what it smells like when it's cut. I don't think it's ribes though as I'm quite sure it doesn't bear fruit.There are blackberry bushes beside it which do bear fruit but I don't think I've seen this flower do it.

flowering currant doesn't bear fruit like a currant, it only flowers. Some of the newer choice varieties are scented but the old fashioned one had a distinct smell of pee when cut.

Have to admit it looks exactly like the flowering currant in part of my hedge, (dead stuff included!).
