I miss Woolworths, they did the best Pick n Mix sweets IMHO. But what was your favourite one (for those who can remember Woolies!)
I always made a bee-line for the nut brittles, raspberry truffles and toasted coconut squares.

I'm not really a sweety person, but having said that, raspberry truffles were lush.
I don' know purple, but I'm going to rename this quality street chocolate a 'purple popple' http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2008/06/13/article-1026147-0197E2D800000578-883_224x128.jpg LOL! ;0)
I think the morning thread would disagree alba & say you were a very sweet person!
I agree Alba, I miss Woolies pick n mix. I LOVED the raspberry ruffles. Gorgeeeeous!

memories of sweety shops now, there's only left locally with the jars of sweets and you can ask for 1/4lb of one etc etc (well grams really)

When I was a kid and that was a good few years ago we used to have a man come round on a motor bike with a trailer selling shoe laces buttons and all sorts and we called him the woollies man .
Coffee creams for me every time!

Not sure I'd be so appreciative now though.
