I am not one of those black leather clad Matrix fans, but for a long while I have been refusing to watch M2 & 3. I really don't want to spoil the effect the first one had on me.

to watch only the first and not watch the trilogy is actually pointless. All 3 must be watched to understand the story fully.

Dont understand people that think 2 and 3 are not even worth watching. MAd!

Don't think it's not worth watching, and I will one day. Just have really high expectations of it, which I don't want to be spoiled. I know sounds daft, but it's just me. Put it this way I haven't seen any of the new Star Wars either, and from what I hear good thing also.

No prequel as yet, but I could certainly see them doing one about how the machines took over in the first place. Wouldn't be like the Matrix films we know now, but would have legs as an interesting story.

2 had two amazing scenes (at least 2). No need to say which ones. No 3 I have DVD but i only watched once coz at 1st look it seemed a bit dull. I will have to get DVD out again soon & have a second look.

I prefer the 1st Martrix from the trilogy.I lost the plot half way through the 2nd and had absolutely no idea what on earth was going on by the time i got to the 3rd.

Personally, I think the 1st matrix was a classic standalone feature by its self - a true sci-fi classic. But a 4th Matrix wouldn't quite interest me as I think the 1st would of been enough !

Ive heard the off-side rule explained easier than the plot for all 3 films !

and yes there could easily be a 4th film as the matrix has been re-set and it all starts over again......what a total cop-out....and Im a bit of a Matrix fan btw !

i dont think it would work as i believe that the 2nd and third films destroyed the story but thats just my opinion.lol
