Sick Pay - One Day Off But Lose 3 Days Pay?

Is it legal to lose 3 days sick pay even if you were off for 1 day only?

Don't know the legality of it but it seems wrong to take 3days for one sick day. We're you off on a Monday. I seem to recall some old law here in Zim that if you had a Monday off without a sick note they took extra days?

I wonder if there has been a misunderstanding. You get sick pay when you are off sick. I don't see how they can take it off you.
