Butterfly Eyes

I have been going through my wildlife photos over the past couple of days and I noticed something for the first time in butterflies. The construction and appearance of the eye varies wildly between species. There are three photos here to show what I mean.

Other "Blue" butterflies seem to have he same eye as the Holly Blue.
I'd be interested in seeing other butterfly eye types if you would share pics of them

After going out last night to my old school annual old boys supper I discovered another pair of unusual eyes in the mirror this morning. Not pretty:(

You may find this informative, though not very relevant. I think the different types of eyes reflects the fact that the name 'butterfly' covers a group of insects that are less closely related than we assume.
