I'm using Safari browser on a Mac. When I type www.google.com in the address bar and hit enter, it switches to www.google.hu. Why?

Dusty - that is strange. I just clicked on the link you posted here and it opened up as Google.co.uk

Well a little more searching has revealed that Google are already aware of this issue and have provided advice on this subject:-

After resetting my router, I no longer get redirected to Hungary! Yippee!
