Installing A Printer To Laptop

hi everyone I need help. I have just bought a new printer a HP 2542. but I can't install it on to my Samsung S3510. by wireless or usb. The laptop won't allow me to install the driver. the printer is working fine on my tablet but pc just wont have it. I have turned off firewall and security just in case they were blocking it. I keep getting the message up access denied. I know people who have it installed on pc tablet and iphone and its ok. so what am I doing wrong. iv'e tried troubleshooting to Samsung but to no avail. please help I'm worn out. been trying for 2 days.

The advice I regularly give to people who have any form of 'ill health' with HP Printers is... "consult the doctor". This 'on-line' consultant is really incredible and so often fixes problems immediately. :-

Hans you wonderful man thank you thank you thank you I have just done what you suggested and followed the instructions and wow it worked my printer is now printing from the pc wonderful. the problem was I think the disc that came with the printer didn't have the right printer on it because a different one kept coming up. I didn't know thanks again. Kendra
