and that is because it is Cocktail X
made up of droogz A, B and C and the names are confidential to repvent legislation to put them out of business
C - has to be a muscle relaxant
It seems the drip 'tissued' [= didnt work as it wasnt in a vein ]
The prisoner 'went to sleep' and they thought oh he is anaesthetised
but then he was rousable
and then roused.
anaesthetic mark 0 /10
at present an appeal on 'cruel and unusual punishment' I would have thought has to succeed

Dee Sa - I don't think anyone would argue that the crimes committed for which capital punishment is the sentence are anything less than horrific but -
if we are not careful, we loose our sense of morality and perspective by joining the killer on his or her level by killing them in turn, without the proviso of mental illness, provocation et al - we are killing someone in cold blood using a barbaric system, and that cannot be right in any civilsed culture.

viv38 - "Oh andy, don't you get fed up of repeating the same thing over and over again ?? I get it, you don't approve of capital punishment !! Bloody 'ell ....."
Actually, no i don't, because my point is not about my personal view of capital punishment, which is known to anyone who knows me at all on here.
My argument is with a society at large - specifically parts of the USA - wo believe that this is the behaviour of a civilisec culture, when in my view it merely drags that culture down to the level of its capital criminals.
So my point is not to do with my personal view, it is trying to advance the point that capital punishment does not belong in a civlised society.
