over a week ago I bought 3 bunches of roses in bud 10 in a bunch for £2 each . wrapped nicely and with a small packet of powder with each to make them last longer, one week later they are beginning to open up and will last at least another 5/7 days, what a bargain.

Love Lidl roses Dee Sa - they always last for ages, great bargain.
That's excellent, Dee! I also praise Morrison's cut chrysanths at the moment - my sister bought a bunch when she visited three weeks back, and I've only just had to throw them away. Very good value!
I wish there was a Lidl near me. Just an Asda I'm afraid.
That was a blooming good buy dee sa.
I get carnations from Asda Jeza and they sometimes last for three weeks.

My Mum loves Lidl's flowers.
Are they from Kenya Dee Sa? I am deeply suspicious of flowers that cheap. Charities and environmental experts have raised concerns about the cut-price flowers, many of which come from Africa and particularly Kenya's Lake Naivasha region. Child exploitation comes to mind for one thing. OK if they are ethically sourced.
