What was the last film that made you cry and desperate to right an injustice?

I watched the film, Osama, last night. It was the first film made in Afghanistan after the fall of the Taliban and it is a heartbreaking account of a young girl, who has to pretend to be a boy, to earn money for her family. Women were banned from working under the Taliban and the injustices they suffered were difficult to comprehend to my western eyes.

The young actress, Marina Golbahari, was apparently chosen for the lead role after walking past the director in the street and her performance has more depth and pathos than many an established Hollywood stars.

I highly recommend it and hope other Abers can name some equally moving films for me to watch in the future.

I rewatched "Hotel Rwanda" a couple of week's back, and that did the trick. (Mme LeMarchand was so upset by the film that she refuses to watch it again).

Not a film, but quite often "Cold Case" causes a tear in the old eye...
It hasn't arrived in my neck of the woods yet, but I have been recommended to see Tsotsi - with a whole box of tissues.
