Torrential Rain????

Supposed to be having downpours of rain all over SE England since "tea-time" whatever that is supposed to mean, Now 8 pm, not a drop, very angry as did not water any of my many pots and tubs of plants!!! Just hope the rain has been delayed.

Well im in the south-east and its been raining quite hard for the last couple of hours or so now.

Never sure if I am supposed to be South east or South West. South Central does not really exist. No rain.

We were predicted clouds all day and occasional rain in the South West, but we've had nothing but sun and warmth.

Is Weston Super Mare in Somerset or Avon now?

Avon doesn't exist as a county now, so WSM is in North Somerset, but the name Avon still carries on in "Avon and Somerset Police", for example. I've no idea why it hasn't been changed.

Which was why I asked.
Remember being taken on the boat from Barry to WSM by my grandparents as a small child. Grandfather was related to the family who had the donkeys on the beach.
