Why do charecters in eastenders, call certian people thier nan. When in fact they're not biologically thier nan. For instsnce Stacy Slater call's big Mo nan, and Danny & Jake called Nana Moon nan. When thses are in fact thier great aunties.

I think 'nan' in these cases is more a family term of affection. Like calling someone aunty when you are not even related.

Nana Moon is Jake and Danny's nan (they're cousins to Spencer and Alfie). I know what you mean though, everyone on the 'Square' calls her Nana.

Nana moon is their aunt not nan
Nana moon only had the one son, so that makes jake alfie cousin through his mums sister or brother, so nana cant be their nan.
