Triton Shower

Hi,

I have a triton shower which has just stopped working. The power pull code on the ceiling is fine as you can see the led light up on the shower that power is getting to it. The moment I press the power button on the shower the power light on the shower goes off and no water is comming out when it should. Any suggestions please.

Several things such as the heating element; micro switches; cut-outs etc need to be tested with a meter.

Triton's customer help is excellent. Worth a phone call. They'll know who to send out...........

I thought I would have ago by myself on repairing. I had a continuity test on the thermal cut out switch using a multimeter and this working fine. Checked the inside filter no issues there. I noticed that the power LED is not bright when it refuses to work. I placed the front cover back on and this time the power LED was bright and turned the shower on and it worked fine. When I switched it of from the ceiling power code and then back on again the power led was not bright and it did not work.

Something intermittent but have got it working now and have tied the pull cord up so no one turns it off. Triton service was asking for £100 call out charge :-(

Any ideas guys could it be the solenoid?

Hi NISAR1 might be worth checking the wiring in the switch, if the terminals have loosened it will light the indicator lamp till the shower demands power then it fails.

The wiring to the switch has been checked and it working as it should thanks.
