McDonald's classes itself as a restaurant. As does Masa in NY.

I find the portions in a lot of places have got bigger unless you go to pretentios restaurants where food is "art" (which I don't)

Mr.c and i go to our favourite Greek restaurant and yes I agree the portions have got smaller..but still paying about £20 for a Mezze per head.

I would really like more Asian restaurants to serve smaller portions. I like to eat be able to have a spoon of this and a taste of that but not all Indian restaurants serve a Thali and whatever the Chinese/Thai/etc equivalent would be.

I think its called Nouvelle Cuisine breadstick, the ancient French art of charging you a large amount of money, for something very small.

Mary Quant had a similar idea in the 60's with womens clothes !
