I've just been for a mooch around the garden and noticed my tomatoes have blight and have all died. There has been no blossom on my apple tree and there are no sign of any figs on the two fig trees. Ah well, at least I have a bumper crop of slugs this year.

Not much you can do about the apples and figs just hope they are saving their energy for a bumper crop next year. It's just my rhubarb that's playing up this year for some reason and I too have been successful in nurturing an enormous crop of slugs :-(
