Just spent an interesting evening in the company of Scotland's First Minister Alex Salmond. As part of One Million Questions he was at the University of Dundee for a Q & A session. The evening certainly confirmed the way I will be voting on 18th September.
Not a fan of Salmond, and I really don't want to stand an hour in border checks the next time I go there, if Scotland do go solo. But having said the we haven't got any worthwhile borders have we.
///Scotland 'got' £16.5bn more in UK public spending in 2009-10 than it contributed to total UK revenues - or a 'subsidy' of around £3,150 per head.///
now maybe someone can answer this. as Scotland is so expensive to keep, why are all political parties opposed to independence,,,,,,,,,,,,,and in truth not many of you know what you are talking about. but hey ho !
