The most exciting race of the season by far. Mercedes lose their lockout of 1st and 2nd, Hamilton has to retire after both of them suffer some mechanical problem, some massive crashes and plenty of overtaking... and Ricciardo wins his first ever Grand Prix!

Shaking the whole season up... or jut a blip in Mercedes' dominance?

Good race but I really wish someone would tell Eddie Jordan that his trousers are too tight! We don't need him flashing his moose knuckle at us :-/

Well bad luck Captain. It *was* a procession, for about 40 laps, and then suddenly things went wrong for Mercedes. Both cars lost power at about the same time and it was enough for Massa to take the lead for a while, and then all hell broke loose as Hamilton lost his brakes at some point on the back straight trying to overtake Rosberg again.

great race, lots of shouting going on at our house especially in shock at the final crash. So pleased they both got out ok, and over the moon that 'Smiley' newcomer Ricciardo won! good lad!
Both mercedes going off with the same mechanical issue, oh dear, some heads will roll tonight...

(love this track but for next time though, they really do need to lop back those trees around the track)

Barring many more mechanical issues , the silver cars will in all liklehood continue to be out in front for the rest of the season .

It does not bodes well for Hamilton ,to overtake Rosberg points lead , given that they will more than likely come first or second in the remaining races
