Table Tennis rule

Last week at our retired social meeting, we had a game of Table Tennis and someone claimed that if you serve 2 lets(due to catching the net), the next attempt must be good otherwise you lose the point!! I've searched the rules on the web and cannot find any reference to this. Anyone out there help??

As a qualified table tennis umpire I can tell you this is rubbish...........

Table tennis is ace (the men still wear tight shorts). With regard to the rules you can serve as many lets as you want (or don't want), it is still a let serve.
