My daughter leaves Aberdeen tomorrow on the first leg of her trip to Malawi. I will miss her while she is away, but console myself with the thought that she will be in good company and it's only for a fortnight. This is part of the Dochas Trust's Facebook entry:

"Take Mohammed to the mountain, not the mountain to Mohammed." That sums this up adequately - hope that she enjoys the experience! (Just as Uruguay score!)
She sends a very caring girl maggie. i wish her safe travels.
I felt very proud too when my son and partner helped the homeless for 3--4 yrs on the run at xmas time. Good to feel proud of our kids ay!
