Brilliant Writing Or Just Reactive?

Do you think the writer of this showed creative spirit? It does need to be talked about, but Jim Fixit is a terrible name. Banning a play is usually an honour, hopefully it can be performed somewhere else.

Further searches suggest the character was actually called Will Fixit. Were I a drama teacher, who'd ordered an already used and acceptable play and I saw that name in the cast list list would it jump out at me as 'shocking'? No it would not. where does it all stop - should we ban children from using glitter?

I was at primary school in 1962 when Christine Keeler hit the headlines. This of course was kept away from us all ( skool-boyz ) as 'too disgusting' but we all knew what was going on. hur hur hur
Of course when the adults were discussing it with circumlocutions and hushed voices we had to wear angelic other-worldly expressions and go on playing with our dinky toys ( whilst listening hard and then reporting to our peers later....)
I am pretty sure we knew Vassall had been surprised in a Moscow hotel kissing a man and not a woman, as well....
