Cure for cancer

Does anyone ever REALLY get cured of cancer? Up to now everyone i have known, personally, who has got cancer has died between 4-6 years later. A 100% record sheet for cancer, i am really sorry to say.

I know someone who is still going 28 years after diagnosis. Another one I know of is my aunt - diagnosed almost 18 years ago, but still going - although still has treatment as it keeps re-occuring.

As far as I know there isn't at present a cure but with the help of gift aid and donations it might come quicker.
Positive attitude certainly helps a lot in beating/holding down the cancer and know of people who just won't let it get them down. I lost my dad to cancer and he had more or less given up on life as soon as he got the 'news' he had cancer. Needless to say he died very quickly.

What about that lady that keeps running marathons even though she had cancer?

Also my Grandad was diagnosed with cancer- he refused to believe that is what it was, and he died years and years later at 96!!

I was diagnosed with cancer 20 plus years ago still here, no further treatment since, yes I am very lucky but went to the doctor early

yes I have friends and famly that have had cancer. the body can heal it self most of the time if it hasent spred to far. 1 you have to eat healthy even vegan. Most people say vegan yuk but if you look at people that are 100% vegan they are never sick. Also look at gorillas they are very very strong animals and they only eat leafs nuts fruit ect. also Cancer means ''New tissue cells that lack a controlled growth pattern.'' you no if you have cancer the feeling of their is no way out.If you want more info just ask.if you are siting their dieing you will try any thing.some of us have...and are still talking to you.
