I right-click on a photo in Windows 8 and choose 'Send to -> Mail Recipient'. Windows Live Mail is the mail program. The default option is for the photo to be sent via OneDrive, but if I click on the photo in the email and click on 'Format', I can choose between different OneDrive layouts or an old-style paperclip attachment. How would I make sending as a normal attachment the default?

Thank you. However it's not so much about whether they're displayed in the message or not, it's about the WAY they are sent. With Windows 8 / Windows Live Mail, the default is that photos are put on OneDrive (i.e. on the cloud) - they're not real attachments. I just wondered if there's a way to change that.
