A friend of mine has been taken into hospital with very high blood pressure.
She suffers great pain from sciatica. Would this cause the high blood pressure?

I'm not qualified to answer your question cupid pal, but I do know how painful sciatica can be, please give your friend my best wishes x.

Will do Wharton. She's just learnt her husband has angina too. She's a very nice lady...would help anyone.
I can see no connection between high BP and sciatica from what you describe.
There must be more to this story.

Yes, she could have other underlying health problems. But that's all the information I have at the moment.
I'd also wonder if the sciatica is correctly diagnosed or if it could be something else, if related.

My friend is now home from hospital after having a few days rest in hospital.
She's one of these people that can never sit still...she just overdid it and has been told told to rest more. The weekend she went in hospital she'd organised a surprise retirement do for her husband [and managed to sort it without him knowing anything about it until the actual day] She is in great pain still from sciatica brought on by a bad fall she had a couple of months ago and is awaiting appointment at hospital.
cupid......feedback much appreciated.
