Dog Wormer/flea Treatment
I have heard of a new dog combined wormer/flea treatment tablet which needs to be given only about every 3 months. It is called something like Bravelect. Has anyone tried or know anything about it? I have googled it but I'm not sure of the name. Many thanks.

I don't think its in the UK yet
My dogs wear scalibor collars, which are licensed against fleas in the US but not in the uk, however they are the bees knees for ticks which is the main problem where I live.

Why would you want to worm/flea treat your dog unless it has fleas or worms? Mine have not had either for years as a preventative and I don't believe in filling them full of chemicals for no reason. If I do ever find evidence of a flea I use Frontline Spray from the vet, one hit and they are dead, not like the spot on or tablets that only contain growth inhibitors. If I have to worm (eg pregnant bitch) then I use Panacur liquid.
I worm regularly because my dogs run in the forest and eat poo. Likewise I use tick prevention because otherwise they would never be free of them and we live in a lyme hotspot. The only time we have ever had fleas in the house they were brought in by the humans, three time by me and once by my DH. DH picked his up in a cab.
