Hard cheese gives me a headache. My very favourite cheese, which I could eat all the time, is cambozola . It's lush. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cambozola
If I am I'll name it Immac.........short for the babies method of conception!

I like laughing cow triangles, edam, brie, some foreign garlic stuff I can't remember the name of and primula. I would eat most hard cheeses as long as it isn't too strong or blue.

Brown fruity sauce or raw onions are nice with cheese.
Waitrose Somerset Ale Chutney is VERY nice with cheese!
...and also (modestly) my last year's green tomato chutney was delicious with cheese and biscuits. It's all gone now :-(
lol @ dairylea triangle. That puts my cod in parsley sauce with tom ketchup to SHAME.

I like cheese. Apart from anything with blue bits in it. Oh and Port Salut, which stinks.
Barmaid - I loathe tomato ketchup - as a child I loved it.

I was eating a tube of primula the other day and Frankie was trying to get some. I told him that he wouldn't like it. He took one sniff and ate it all. Means that I will have to share in future. Fekking cats.
Do the lids of Primula tubes still have a star shape so that you can squeeze it onto a Ritz cracker before adorning with a slice of olive to serve to your guests at an evening soirée?

I'm collating canapé recipes at the mo and this could be THE ONE!!!
STOP IT ECCLES!!!

I have decided to do canapes for the "Wedding of the Year". Having managed to get over the sandwiches/quiche thing I was considering primula.............

I may post a thread in "F&D" seeing as I have 96 croustades to fill with something.
ooh Shiphams crab paste and a sliver of tinned peach to give it the exotic touch......

I'll await your thread proper and in the meantime give careful consideration to your quandary :-)
I love dolcaletta it's a very smooth, creamy blue, not easy to find though sadly.
Wensleydale with a slice of my mum's fruit loaf.
Any of the crumbly blue cheeses like Stilton or Danish Blue.

drool, drool
1st Somerset brae.
2nd Wensleydale & cramberries
Brie and grapes, barmaid!
Blacksticks Blue.....absolute heaven, with grapes and crackers,
Oooh thats making me feel hungry now.
