Not a question – but for anyone who has doubts about the intentions of ISIS, a concise but factual article, simply written.

Keyplus, according to you it’s always someone else’s fault but the west can’t be blamed for the animosity that exists between these two factions – it’s existed for hundreds of years.

divebuddy, you’re right – this is as a result of sticking our oar in - these people are still fighting the Crusades.

karenkay, just to be clear I don’t have a job here, and I don’t want to kill anyone. I suggest you take more water with it before posting.

Fender – Perhaps an iron fist is what few people need. However if you do not agree with that iron fist then answer the question I asked. Is Iraq better now?

///Is keyplus a terrorist?///

Perhaps yes. Because anyone who does not agree with double standards of the West is a terrorist now a days. In last few days Israeli army has killed quite a few terrorists younger than 10 years. And I do not show opposition to the country I live in. I show opposition to the wrong policies of the country. And if I remember rightly over 2 million people protested against Iraq invasion in London few years ago. Many of them terrorist then, were they? Why do you want to track me down? Let me know when and where you want to see me and I will come over. And the bullet bit we will discuss once we see each other.
Divebuddy……….Please don’t say anything like what you said otherwise you may be branded a terrorist too and someone would be willing to put a bullet through your head too. But still you would be branded a fanatic and not the person who is willing to kill you.

////divebuddy) if the west as you put did not put the oar in, they would still be killing each other////

Had we not attacked a country then that country might have attacked us……………….Very clever logic.
Iraq invaded Iran. Why? Because Americans armed them to stop revolution in Iran. Iraq invaded Kuwait, why? Because Americans wanted a reason to be there…….Oil of course.

An elected President is in prison in Egypt, why? Speaker or the democracy did not accept Hamas when they won election. Why? Why Americans are trying to change the election results in Afghanistan as we talk?

Keyplus, You conveniently forget that 9/11 happened – and when. And no, the CIA didn’t do it.

Additionally, as one who claims he doesn’t show opposition to the country he lives in, can you explain exactly why you want to see the flag of Islam flying over Downing Street?

Incidentally, I think you've misunderstood Divebuddy's post. You've clearly missed this bit:

//All we've achieved by "helping" is to remove the thug who could control things and clear the way for internal conflict to (eventually) produce another one. The difference now is that the next leader is likely to also have "religious maniac" on his cv.//

Hardly an accolade to the fabled wisdom of Islam, but it sounds about right to me.
The following puts a bit more flesh on the bones, explaining that they aren't just a rag tag bunch of militants but a body of fighters who are led by an experienced 'general' respected for his tactical warfare skills and that they are quite wealthy too, having control of oil fields in Syria together with some wealthy 'sponsors'.

If you want to destroy the world, maybe it's not a good idea to name your group after the Egyptian Goddess of nature? (Even if its only in acronym form)
