Just saw a trailer, where she accused Rolf Harris of sexual abuse.
Anyone else seen it?

I remember VF making a right show of herself with Michael Barrymore and on another occasion with Freddy Starr. She's not exactly shy and she can defend herself

She seems genuine enough to me, with some good points made ...
http:// www.bbc .co.uk/ news/uk -englan d-londo n-28190 812
She said: "I didn't want to break up a marriage, I didn't want to have a terrible effect on his career, and also I thought it wasn't that serious: after all I'd managed to stop it in the nick of time."
Of that decision, she said: "I regret it because I didn't know that it was happening to lots of other people. If I had known, I suppose I would have reacted differently."
------------------
[On the personal insults, and hatred, and bile she received on social media after speaking to the newspaper]
"You think if people react like that, you can see why people don't come forward," she said.
"I'm 52 and I can handle myself so imagine if I was a seven-year-old child, or 12 or 17.
"I'm not saying just if it's someone famous, but imagine if it was your dad, uncle or teacher.

The latter half of your statement is true, Colin and Jess.
I have had the distinct under-privilege of meeting her and didn't find her to be a very nice person. There is a large proportion of the population, rightfully or wrongfully, who find her distasteful and count me in that group. Okay, I was savage but really what she should do is either be quiet about RH or go to the police if she thought she had grounds.

Her points were:
1) in hindsight, it probably would have been better for her to go to the police when it first happened. except that ...
2) seeing the vitriolic reaction she got now, it's understandable why in future victims STILL wouldn't go to the police (i.e. if they were lining themselves up for that kind of abuse on top of the abuse they'd already suffered)
