The Israeli Army have fired two 'warning shots 'into the Aljazeera building in Gaza.

Is there any justification for targetting civilian workers in this way?

Aljazeera are not terrorists, they are international journalisst. Most of its reporters are not Palestinian. The station was set up by ex-BBC reporters.

They are not legitimate targets for Israel's soldiers. It is sad to see so many of you believe people gathering news can be murdered for doing their job.

None of the governments involved are in the right in this.

The Western powers set up a Jewish homeland after WW2, drawing up lines on a map and dispossessing some of the small indigenous population, provoking the whole shambles.

Israel has always been surrounded by hostile countries, but its expansionist activities are unjustified and provocative. Its government has included many anti British terrorists from the early days.

America props up a state which might otherwise be non viable, and enables it to wage war.

The Palestinians are not for the most part descended from the original displaced population, and are effectively without a Government. This allows Hammas to pursue their anti Israeli policies I understand they levy taxes on all goods smuggled through the tunnels.

None, Israel is shooting itself in the foot; rightly or wrongly, it is turning the whole world – often deluded, true – against it. That's foolish and counterproductive. Sending in ground troops to surgically remove the rocket launchers should be Israel's only response right now. No more rockets on civilian areas, please; that's playing right into the hands of Hamas.
