Apparently he roughly treated his Ex. Is such a thug fit to grace the hallowed halls of Westminster?

He won't be lonely...
I wonder if there are any AB'rs from Falkirk? They had Eric Joyce of course. There will always be examples of this sort of behaviour which should be seriously dealt with by the respective Party bigwigs.
If she was in so much pain, why was he only charged with common assault?
Question Author
Joyce is a barroom brawler. Is he a wife beater too?
No SanyRoe but your question revolves around ethics.Politicians are people of responsibility and I doubt constituents take too kindly to misconduct.

Facing up to an opponent who's your match is one thing. A man hitting a woman is quite another. That's in a different league.
It's the same old story from MPs - "Do what I say, not what I do"
ah but he regrets '' his inappropriate actions '' that's ok then.
An MP who is guilty of anything deemed to be a breach of law should be immediately removed from his/her position within the Houses of Parliament.

he is standing down at the next election

There is a small room where the fishing rods and the shotguns are stores. It hardly merits the title 'gunroom'.
is that the room where the '' moving drawer '' is. is it next to your wine cellar or is it the breakfasting room ?
Question Author
The moving drawer is in the front drawing room. It's unnerving so I've set my bicycle against it. It hasn't moved since.
The wine cellar's a shadow of its former self. Only 8 or 9 cases left. Hopefully I'll not be drinking them. Can't think who'll have them eventually.

The reds have all gone. There are the 9 cases of the 2010 Puligny-Montrachet Premier Cru. But I've never cared much for white wine.
